Description

The “Memories of a Flower” series was born from an exercise in loose watercolor painting. Each one was created without an initial sketch or reference image using the wet-on-wet technique to capture this image of a specific pink flower in my mind’s eye. Working fast and loose as always been a challenge for me, and most of my watercolor illustrations are very controlled and painted over several days or months. These 8 original watercolor paintings were created with spontaneity, instinct, and an experimental mindset.
